Hi,

I used to do end-user desktop support about 5 years ago, but I got out of the field. Now, I managed to get one of my computers malwared, and I'm trying to clean it up, but I've been out of the loop long enough that I'm having troubles.

I've got Kaspersky running on the infected machine, let's see what happens, and I'll be back in the morning!

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm continuing to research and learn on the site.  It's changed a bit since I was last doing desktop support!

I think I've got my malware under control.  It was that "loadstart.net" thing.  I'll post over on the appropriate forum with more info.
