Hi.I suppose this question has appeared a few times before. I have formatted an old laptop,toshiba satellite, that has windows 98 on so i am now trying to put xp home on,with cd rom, but the black screen says" invalid system disk" replace the disk and press any key" so i press any key and it says it again. it is not the dos screen, just a black screen.what do i need to do or have? Thanks.

Have you selected the option to boot from CD in the BIOS? I believe it's F2 to get into the BIOS when the system first boots up.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
