Hi there!

I tried to re-add the gmail account to the mail app for win 10 and it had an error 0x8007042b;

I did try to add as other account and that solution did not work either

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

Take a look here. However I caution you that there are ads and links everywhere to avoid using that link. But the directions to potentially resolve your issue are clear and on point.

Just to be clear, in your Google account under connected apps. Windows is on the list, right? I had this problem with a different app and kept forgetting to add the permission for it to the Google account. Thats why I am double checking that you have that done.

Does your ISP have a template that you can follow, for the incoming and out going mail server ID's and ports?
