You can have up to 16G of Ram - 2 Slots eg: 2 x 8G.

You currently have 6G so purchase 2 x 8G of the same type to suit.

The hard drive you have is adequate , a larger Drive 1TB or more will take longer to do any scans etc , otherwise buy a SSD to speed things up.

If you are running out of space , start storing personal files offline eg External Drive.

I run a Samsung 500 Evo SSD @ 100G C:\ Win 7 and 350G D:\ for Storage { Partitioned }

Windows Operating System runs about at 40G so Scans and Image Backups are Quick to do when needed.

Choice is yours on any configuration and others will have their views also.
