Hi all,

I'm putting together my first mini PC.

I haven't bought a PC in a while so I'm worried about component compatibility.

I plan on getting a:

- an ASRock BEEBOX-S 6100U mini PC

- RAM:G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Laptop Memory Model F4-2133C15D-8GRS

- HD: Transcend MTS400 M.2 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) TS256GMTS400

I went for a M.2 2260 lenght size as apparently it's a bit tight inside the Beebox S. Just want to make sure components match.

Many thanks in advance!

PS: Jus as a side note, I am a bit surprised neither the manufacturer nor the retailer (newegg) will answer tech questions o a potencial client. Asrock won't take a tech question unless you are already a customer and a newegg rep said they are not allowed to provide tech support and told me to to to a forum...?

SSD is 2242, not 2260?

RAM seem to match.

That does not surprise me. It costs money to help people, even a little help. ASRock won't help you until you have made them some money first. Tech Support reps gotta eat!

Asrock pages say only: - Supports 1 x M.2 slot (type 2260 & 2280, supports SATA3 6.0Gb/s & PCIe 3.0x4 M.2 SSD)

So better to go with 2260 or 2280 just to be sure.
