I have been reading, just READING, and looking at various YouTube videos about backup and recovery programs, and I am confused about what to do and make selections about EUFI and GPT for these programs.  Obviously I'm interested in advice on how to know what to do about these things.

Although there are many different programs and numerous backup routines, I personally:

-- use Macrium Reflect and Imaging for Windows; still can use Acronis True Image

-- make full images of OS partition and data partitions

--  2-3 times monthly

-- onto two dedicated usb 1TB ext HD per computer

Very nice commentary RolandJS, but emphasis of my question includes,

I am confused about what to do and make selections about EUFI and GPT for these programs.

Sorry!  I was thinking of the beginning of the backup/restore strategy; I don't have an answer about UEFI and GPT.
