Hello,

I have been having an issue on my computer for the past few months, that I can not seem to resolve for the life of me.

When ever I right click to open the context menu on any icon, all the icons on my desktop will flash, then the context menu will disappear. I have tried refreshing the installation of windows 10 pro, and same thing happens.

I have ran hijackthis and it reports no problem childs. I have uninstalled almost everything that I had that changed the context menu, and same problem.

Does anyone have any idea what may be the cause of this problem?

I would appreciate it very much.

please let me know if my description of the problem was good enough, if not I am sure I can record my screen and show a video of what it is doing.

Thank you so much in advanced for any help with this issue.

-Dave

Either using Ccleaner or ShellExView may help you pin down the cause.

opera, Thank you so much!!

I found it to be a shell extension for a program that didn't get taken off when i uninstalled the program.

That worked perfectly. I appreciate your help with this.
