Hi. My husband's Lenovo yoga laptop is running windows 10 with Webroot antivirus installed. This morning he noticed that when he woke the computer up, the cursor was jumping all over the screen, opening up files and apps, seemingly at random.  I tried to boot in safe mode using the Shift + Restart, but before it has a chance to reboot, it seems to override it. Help is appreciated. Thank you.  I have disconnected the router and it still seems to be jumping around and preventing me from doing a safe boot.

Update -I did get into safe mode. McAfee ran a scan and found nothing. The cursor is still jumping around and opening files and programs. I tried the task manager, but it kept closing. I did see flashing message screens and from what I could read that fast, it was something with windows/system32/. They kept flashing. I was able to see a com surrogate running in task manager as well. I tried ending them but they kept restarting.
