Brother had issues, now it's across the home network

Yesterday my brother woke up and his computer would not connect to the network, would get stuck trying to identify it.

I got him on a a little wireless adapter (as opposed to a wired one) and it slowed the connection down for me. He is now using a different computer (wired) and the connection is still very slow.

If my computer is the only one connected I don't have any issues, if either of the computers he can use is connected (wired or wireless) I have connection issues.

At first I thought it was an issue with his PC tried to see about fixing his driver and if his IP was borked to no avail, but now I'm starting to think it could be mine or an issue with the router/modem (which was provided to us by our ISP) but I have no idea how to even begin to figure out what is wrong.


Edit: Update so I'm apparently an idiot and didn't even look to see but then realized his network card got jostled out of the PCI-e slot, so that fixed that at least. The wireless issues and wired on second computer issues still persist though

Have you tried resetting your router?
