Hello- I currently have a post in the virus section, however, I believe I may have found my problem. After many reinstalls and upgrades, I determined that the infection enters system before Windows boots. Fixmbr keeps reporting error. After many, many hours of searching, I found a BVTBin installer package in registry. I deleted those values, but session manager is infected still. Not sure how to proceed. I am at the bare install of 7 home premium. I formatted the drive, this leads me to believe it's before start up. There was a 9gb partition on my hdd that had $ and was difficult to remove. Had to use cud to do it. I reran Bitdefender rescue disk which found 6 pad protected folders they are: /bin/mount, /bin/passwd, /bin/ping/, /bin/ping6, /bin/su/ and finally /bin/umount. I don't know where or what these are. Am I on the wrong track here, any suggestions would be great. Thanks
