Dear Members,

I am facing a typical problem with Laptop Lenovo G50-80 with following configuration :

Core i3 - 4GB RAM - 1TB Harddisk - AMD Radeon Graphics Card - 15.6" Screen - Windows 10 Home SL.

The problem i face is when i start Laptop Windows 10 starts... Desktop icons are displayed but Taskbar icons and icons on system tray are not displayed. Time and date are also not displayed. If i do not do anything the system state remains as it is. But if i double click on Taskbar the icons are displayed and then i can use the Laptop.

I tired following things :

I used one touch recovery to restore to factory default settings ( Twice )

Chkdsk with /r /f

But the problem remains same.

Can anybody please suggest solution ?

Have you updated ALL of your drivers from the Lenovo support website for your model?

Do you have ALL Windows Updates?
Have you updated ALL 3rd party programs that were installed since you got the computer?

First, run these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Then I would try to reinstall using a fresh copy of Windows (backup your stuff first - as the installation should wipe out all of your files).

Here's a link for the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and W10 ISO:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/ (click on the Download Tool Now link)

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
