Good day!

I am having a problem about how I can use symbolic link in my c:\user folder(including sub folders) and put it on the drive d. The reason why  I am doing this is that, my drive c is in a deep freeze status but I want to by pass DF my user folder for not doing the  unthawing option every time I use the computer. I've tried the mklink /j for my user folder and tranfered it to drive d but it did'nt work. I noticed it when I play games. Can you help me with this? the user folder can be seen in the drive d but the data are still in a thawed state like in drive c.

I am using windows 7 64bit, I've tried searching to understand more but I am not good in analysing general explanations.

and also, can I simply delete the user folder in drive d or I need to use cmd?

Thank you very much for your help!
