I bought an open box sale gaming laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad Y700 touch 15ISK with a GTX960 for $300. Was super clean, and it was a price error that was honored. I dont really know what all the specs mean or do, just reading them off the box...
Anyway i wanted something that was powerful enough to play games and edit videos. From what i could see online, tgis laptop can run GTA 5 at full speed with no problems, and looked relatively powerful to anything i expected my $300 budget to get me. I bought Cyberlink Powerdirector 14 deluxe editing software. Im trying to edit video i took on my galaxy S7, nothing fancy just want to speed up the footage and make a few cuts. But, my computer gets pretty sluggish and cant seem to keep up with even that (seemingly) simple task! The preview of the edited footage is not smooth and super laggy/choppy, which makes it very hard to determing if i like the results.
Can anybody help? Id really appreciate it! Thanks.
