When i put my laptop to sleep, there's a two minute window where my laptop can wake up successfully. Leave it in sleep mode, however, and it fails to wake up - the screen lights up, but it just displays a light up black screen.

Even on powering it off, it doesn't necessarily boot up on the first try. It takes multiple attempts to get the laptop to boot to the "Dell startup screen" from where it boots up properly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps changing Windows unattended sleep time value may help.

If not, you can always change it back.

Thanks, but I've already set the screen to never timeout, the problem is once i turn it off, it is a pain to get started.
