Recently I have been having some serious issues regarding PC performance. I noticed the issue first when i right clicked on my internet in the bottom of the screen and it showed a see-through box for roughly 20 seconds, I then clicked around the screen and it showed up, the same has happened for file explorer folders. If i move my mouse and try and highlight something, the area I have highlighted will show up a good 10 seconds after and will not go away.
The most impoprtant problem for me, however, is loading my DAW Fruity Loops 10 as I need this software to produce music as I am a third year Music and Sound Technology student. Everything I do within the DAW takes a full 10 seconds to respond after any action and is unusable (The CPU bar at the top says it is running at 17%). Chrome and browsing the web however is incredibly quick and not representative of how the system is operating, and most programmes i seem to load run completely fine.
I have recently installed the new Windows 10 update and I am to believe that this is the cause of the issue but I am unsure on how to fix it.
