hey everyone. Recently purchased a new computer with ddr2 installed. pc 4200, which is supposed to be running at 533 mhz, or so I'm told. Yet every benchmarking prog I have used says my ram is running at 233 mhz!!! Any ideas what's going on here?

Is all the ram you have installed the same specs?

What programs have you used to determine the speed?

If you do not already have Everest, download V1.51 from oldversion.com

open it and look in the spd section
What does it say about each stick of ram?
