Hi there, I saw that this forum had an introductory section, so I thought I would come over and say hello before just jumping in and begging for help. :)

A little of my background. I earned an associate in computer networking around 2003, spent some time with family, and around 2013 earned a graduate in English. That's not exactly a normal path, but I enjoyed it, now I just need to apply it.

I currently work in a retail chain helping diagnose customer's computers along with selling various electronics. It's not the greatest job, but I get to work with good people, though I'm thinking about moving on.

I'm mainly a desktop PC user, and built myself a gaming rig about a year ago. I threw an I7-5820K into it, along with 16

gb of ram, an MSI X99S SLI PLUS MoBo and reused my old EVGA Geforce GTX 560 TI (Currently shopping a 1080)

I'm somewhat competent in diagnosing other people's problems, but occasionally my own equipment will throw me for a loop, and I'll be looking for help to somewhat shorten the long tedium of troubleshooting. I hope I can give back some help, as well as get help here.

Nice to meet you all.
