MS installed Version 1607 on my PC yesterday morning. All went well. However, browsing is slow as molasses on Edge. Have not tried other browsers. Any suggestions on how to improve browsing speed. I have Smartscreen disabled. Could some of the new Edge add-on features be causing a problem? Thanks.

Hi,

My first test would be on other browsers just to confirm that Edge is the problem.  After this check if there are any extensions running in Edge and potentially disable and then test.

Slow browsing was related to one website only. It has recently been overhauled with numerous pop-ups and scrolling advertising banners. Many users complaining about it. As far as I can tell, browsing everywhere else is fine. Thanks for your help.
