My library keeps updating the printers at taxpayers cost, the latest with an huge touch screen and something odd happened. The machine would not print and I walked over to look for the problem and the screen had an error box much like a Microsoft error box. I also noticed items to be printed took much longer to get to the printer. Much like they were was being re-routed. In short, be careful of what you print, I assume everything is logged and possibly read, paranoid, yes, and I don't visit the library anymore. Anything I need printed now is done at another facility with a dated computer and printer.

I wouldn't want to bet that the library is not logging every print job. When you do copies at places like Staples the image transfers to the hard drive. I don't know if it has changed but I would never use a public copying machine for confidential papers.
