I keep getting this blue screen:

STOP: C000021a (Fatal System Error)
The windows SubSystem system process Terminated unexpectedly with a status of OxC0000005 (Ox7542f33d Ox00a1f138).
The system has been shut down.

Its always between 8 and 9 am eastern time when it crashes. Once it crashes, I am able to reboot and use as normal for the reminder of the day. I have replaced memory, disabled/uninstalled all anti virus and updated drivers. This has been happening for over a year now. Can you help?

Have you check the drive itself? Run chkddsk and also download the hard-drive diagnostic tool for your drive to see if maybe the drive failing.

Yes I have gone as far as switching machines (Dell Optiplex 755 to a Dell Optiplex 960) Win 7 x86 and still get the same thing. It happens at least 3 times a week.  Drive passes all diags, disk check finds no errors in both machines. I was wondering if possibly there is a win update that is causing the problem.

Is there a tool I can use to capture the logs to point me in the right direction?

Please run this report collecting tool so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
FYI - I don't often use the Perfmon report, so if it doesn't work please just let me know.
NOTE:  On problem systems it can take up to 20 minutes for the log files to complete.  Please be patient and let it run.

If you still have problems with it running, there's an alternate tool here (direct download link):  https://github.com/blueelvis/BSOD-Inspector/releases/download/1.0.5/BSODInspector-1.0.5.exe

NOTE:
Please zip up the (.ZIP) files - do not use .RAR or other compression utilities.
.ZIP is the type file that can be uploaded to the forums.

As the problem occurs daily between 8 and 9 pm - I'd also suggest checking the Task Scheduler for programs that launch during that time frame.

To do this, open up an Admin Command Prompt and type "schtasks /query" (without the quotes) and press enter.

This'll give you a list of all tasks with their start times noted.

Scroll through them to see what starts between 8 and 9 - then test those commands to see which (if any) causes the crash.

I got this info from here:  http://jane.dallaway.com/nts-get-a-list-of-windows-scheduled-tasks/
