Windows 10 Bash works best with GUI's via RDP to a Linux laptop and Xming. Check out the way I use Windows 10 bash for local area network projects involving cross platform input an output, using either a SolydX laptop, or a Linux Lite laptop with customized LXDE openbox wm dekstops. I love the ease of connection for remote work. I also use the APIPA addresses ad hoc at times.
