I know this is a super cheap "netbook" "laptop" that is not really worth anything. But I just got one of these for free with a broken screen. The Sylvania Smartbook SYNET7WIC has a 7" screen.

I was wondering what screen is used on this so I can replace it?

I realize that it really isn't worth repairing to sell, but I would love to use this weird little notebook computer to play around with it by putting Linux and / or using it as a mini emulator machine to play super old games that I own.

Thanks a lot for your help

For some idea of what this might be...I took a look at some Amazon Customer Reviews.

Pretty harsh, but I expected that...Sylvania once was a consumer electronics giant in the U.S. but it seems that the name is now owned by a couple of entities that are not in the U.S.  I don't think that you will find the documentation for the named system that one could reasonably expect to find for a known reputable system manufacturer.
