When I first enabled my content advisor. it asked me to create a password.
I created a password. It DID NOT ask for a user name.
I can't view certain websights, even with the content advisor disabled.
When the box pops up the user name and password areas are blank.
I know for a fact that my password is correct but I do not know the user name.
I have searched here and everywhere I can think of.
I cant even find an answer that is close to my Question.
There must be a way to find my user name.

I would rather do without the content advisor all together if this is possible.

Thanks for your time. Ladyparadise

check this link. If I understand it it says it will return the content advisor to its original state. Therefore it should remove any blocking of sites you have allowed.

Have you taken a look at the MS site regarding Content Advisor? Click here for the link.

If you didn't type a username in initially try just typing the password in without a username.

THANKS for all of your help.
I have done all of the above and still one of the websights wont work.
Do you think maybe my firewall is blocking? Or maybe the websight is not working as it should?

If you are down to only one website that isn't working and if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser check and see if it is in restricted sites.

To do so, click on "Tools", then "Inetrnet Options", then click the "Security" tab

Then click on the "Restricted Sites" icon

Then click on the "Sites" button

Look for that site.

You may also want to put it in your "Trusted Sites".

I have a feeling that AOL Security may be blocking me. I have antiphishing on (through AOL). Since there is only one websight. maybe there have been reports of phishing. I will not worry to much about only one websight. I did go to PC HELL and they gave me the same information that I got here. I downloaded AOL a few days ago.
Now I hear that some private information has gotten out somehow. Should I remove AOL? I dont mean to ask another Question, but I really value the opinions here and have always gotten satisfactory results here.
Thanks to all again!
Ladyparadise
