hi all - 'newbee' here

does anyone know of any image editing software

that has options for tools such as 'fuzzy-select' ('magic-wand') and 'flood-fill'

whereby corner-neighbour ('8-connected') pixels can be included

in addition to the usual edge-neighbour ('4-connected') pixels

so that - for example
a straight uniform-colour one-pixel-width diagonal line could be fuzzy-selected (or flood-filled) in a single click

thank you for any help you may be able to offer :-)
