Hi, I need some help. I've just accidently clicked a link masked as an image link which auto downloaded a ~280kb .scr file on chrome. i clicked cancel as soon as possible though i fear i was too late. I've just scanned with malwarebytes and nothing came up. is there any other programs that can help me to see if my computer has become infected? Thanks.

.scr's are not auto-executable, so you would need to click on the file also to get it to run. This ploy works well when people run a file directly out of the browser rather than downloading it first.

If you like though, we can do a bit of a check up on your machine.
