I have it wired through Ethernet, but it only says VMware Network Adapter VMnet1, No Internet. It seems to be more of a computer specific problem than router, since I had another computer connected to the router through the same cable and it worked perfectly fine. How can I solve this?

You are missing your ethernet driver. Try downloading it from the manafacture's site. For more info, what model motherboard do you have?
