Hi, a friend recommended that I download Hijackthis to try and figure our why my computer is acting so wacky. I did and HT generated a log, that they say they cannot give me feeback on at the moment 'cause their swamped and pointed me here.

I hope someone here can help. I've uploaded the hijackthis.log file and pasted the contents below as well.

Thank you.

Jose

Hello and thank you, nasdaq.

I am happy to do and try anything you suggested above. There is one problem. The reason I'm in this mess has to do with that the computer that is having these problems, rendomly powers on and off by itself. Whether I am on laptop with battery power, or dc power, and/or both the syetem will going into sleep mode, turn off, turn on, by itself. So, doing all of this . . . well I'm not sure how to accomplish any of this under these conditions. The only thing I can think of is that this occcurs when the computer has been on for a while and is "hot" more often than when it is cool.

What do you think?  Could you make anything out from that logfile I posted that could explain this random on/off thing?

Thanks for your help,

Jose

There is nothing suspicious in the HijackThis log.

I suggest you check with the Internal Hardware expert.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/

Start a new topic in that forum. An technician can possibly help you better that I can.
