Well its 10 times better to me than 8.1 and I'm not a huge fan of 10. It runs fine for what I need, I don't use any of the special features but its closer to a windows 7 feel for me than 8 ever was and 10 will be supported forever so you will eventually use it at one point.

It's not as bad as people say. It's inevitable if you want to continue in the Windows environment. Even right now software and hardware is starting to not support Windows 7/Vista. The new chips from Intel, for example, will not work on Windows 7/8, only 10. Skylake is the last line of chipsets that are supported officially for Windows 7-8.

Good for you!

I did the upgrade,  so far the only problems I am having is with my mail, I have a Yahoo account and Verizon, I had to download a Yahoo app, which I did, but cannot find an option on either I>E> or Chrome to save it on the desktop, and cannot get the Verizon mail to open, Verizon itself opens but the e-mail won't

The download should automatically offer to save or run

On Edge and IE, this'll appear in a bar at the bottom of the window.

It may have already downloaded - did you check your Downloads folder?

Verizon should have a help page to direct you to the proper settings for your mail.

Thanks, so I guess save is the answer, never saw that before, usually just run and asked if a desktop icon is wanted.
