Well, if we're just talking about dark soda, i gotta go with coke. To me, it just tastes better than pepsi.

However, if it was soda in general, EVERYONE knows that mountain dew is the best. I mean, come on, it's just a FACT

Exactly. Coke is good for dark cola, however Mountain Dew owns. Especially Mountain Dew Code Red! :trumpet:

Now I voted for the Coca-Cola. Even tho' the new "orignal" recipe is not the same as decades ago.
It's a difference in the mix of the sugar types used I'm told.

I really prefer homemade root beer. An older lady living not too far from me
makes her own twice a year. She shares with a few friends.

One day I'll get the full recipe I hope. Some of it I do know. Some is still a mystery.
(I think she adds some old bourbon to it after flashing off the alcohol.)

It's the best root beer I've ever had - Bar None!
The only easy day was yesterday.

I always prefered a Briar's Birch beer.
Did like those 6 1/2 oz. bottles of Coke really cold tho'.

Added another vote to Coca Cola  . Pepsi doesn't meet my minimum taste requirements. RC is ok, but I find it goes flat too quickly. Could be just me. Yep that's my favorite dark soda for sure. My top 3 favorite soft drinks have to be Mountain Dew, Coke, and Sprite. Mmmmm, now I have to run to the fridge.

Coke always. Coke did change the suger they use however in mexico they still use the old suger. Here in the USA they use Refined Cane Suger (RCS) but below the border they use Pure Cane Suger(PCS). It had something to do w/ the FDA in the 80's when coke went to the "new' formula and the quickly reverted to the "original" formula. "New" coke was an attempt to make Coke w/ the RCS taste like Coke w/ PCS.

We went to Pennsylvania last year and we were going to get a gallon of REAL root beer. It was like 8 or 9 bucks...I told my dad lets just get one cup and he asked and we could get a cup for a buck. They gave us a big cup and we tried it. It took the whole family and 2 other people to get one cup down....

Were glad we didnt buy the gallon...

Real root beer is different than the A&W root beer we are used to.

My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper. Its the best drink in the soda area as far as dark drinks go and then my second is Root Beer and then Coke.

In the lighter drinks area its Mountain Dew and Sprite.

I'd rather have the less sugary REAL THIRST QUENCHER Gatorade over soda. I want soda every now and then but gatorade is so much better tasting and better for you.

Coke! Definately.

However, the best soda sold is CHEERWINE!

Best drink overall, Propel by Gatorade

I voted for Coke!

Also, not to be mean or anything but 7up is not made by Pepsi, it is part of the Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. which is owned by Cadbury Schweppes.
