Well, i'm not big on intros but wanted to be respectful of the website request so here i am. :) I'm learning lots on my own, and am facing my first challenge with trying to get McAfee off my windows 10. Boy what a chore! Well thanks everyone and feel free to help me out if you'd like. T.I.A.!

Welcome.  MacAfee can be difficult to get completely cleaned.  Boot to safe mode without network and remove with system tools. Using "MSCONFIG"   Check the startup list  and uncheck any boxes for MacAfee.     Then it may be safe.  Sometimes it writes to the flash BIOS but not always and that takes a BIOS reset to default factory to clear the flash BIOS.

Use the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool (MCPR)

It works well.
