Last night my notebook updated to these updates:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607

Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176936)

Both were successfully installed. Now when I restart my laptop, there's pop ups in the bottom right corner that say certain apps can't load now. One pops up before the screen even loads, so I don't know what the message says, I assume they are the same messages, but the second says something about HP Documentation. I checked the start up apps, and it says IDT as not being measured and it's not running. As far as I can tell this is the only start up item missing. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Okay, I got my IDT/audio back to working... but that wasn't the issue.

Now the pop ups say HP Documentation and Intel WiDi apps can't open. I see Intel WiDi has been discontinued, so I uninstalled it from my programs.

Are you still having problems?  If so, what are they?

Have you tried running the conflicting apps in Compatibility Mode?

If it's an HP app, contacting HP should get you an answer about the app's compatibilty w/W10 1607 (or not).

I was able to fix it. It turned out it was the notification windows popping, and I had the notifications in my taskbar set to not show. Once I cleared the notifications, all went back to normal.
