Hello,

I've discovered a new drive ESP that I cannot access. What should I do?

Thank you so much

Please be more specific. Do you mean the drive appeared out of nowhere and you did not plug in any new hardware?

Thank you. Yes it newly appeared. Somebody did plug in an external hard-disk to my computer but I don't know if it is related to that. I've also taken screenshots but I couldn't find a way to attach them to my post.

Attachments are not allowed in Am I Infected.

You will have to upload the screenshots to an image hosting site such as Imgur.

Then you will need to copy the link for BB CODE (message boards and forums)

The link will look like this for Imgur. Other sites will of course be different but the key is to use the link with the img tags.

Paste the link into your post. It will be shown after it is actually posted.

If possible - plug the same hard drive in and see if you can access that ESP disk again. If you can, it's just some glitch.

Have you tried following the instructions into the security tab too?

that's a good idea. there is nothing to do with the tabs- sharing, formatting the disk, etc and no rights to do any of it anyway.
