I was checking a very old almost never used email today and had a notice about Optical Drive Anti-Trust.  I had Dell computers during that time (real DHell - they had such bad hardware always failing that they upgraded a couple times) and that was the only computer company that had that email address.  Dell wasn't mentioned in the email.  So, I was wondering if spam or if this is legitimate.  I didn't click on the link.  Also, the computer was purchased originally from my dad in another state; however, I did buy extended warranty and I don't remember or have the paperwork on what kind of optical drives the original or replacement computers had.

Thank you

There is a legitimate Optical Disk Drive Antitrust litigation. Official website https://www.opticaldiskdriveantitrust.com/

Having said that, it is possible that the email you received is legitimate OR could be from a phisher hoping to lure you in to whatever nefarious scheme they have going on.
