Good day to all,

I am a Pc nut job formerly from UK and now living and running my own PC repair business in Cape Town. Been fiddling around with computers for 25 years and I am registered on so many other forums. I gave bleeping computer a miss for a while as I;ve just been too busy on the others.

When I can find some quiet time (normally late in the evening) I shall post when needed and answer queries when I can, after all the reason I got into this business in the first instance is because there is always something new to learn and no-one knows or even remembers everything they've learn't.

My advice to those millions of computer users all over the world is very simple. Don't panic when things go wrong with your computer and please stop trying to fix it the same way expecting a different result as this rarely if ever helps. Go and pop the kettle on make a cup of tea or go for a smoke break if you happen to smoke and think about how the the problem started. Most things that go wrong with computers have to be approached with a process of elimination mindset and in a calm way.
