I am a newbie to this forum but i have been reading some of the posts and responses and feel that the quality of discussions on topic leads me to discuss my problem. I am having a problem that gets progessively worse the longer I am booted up. I bring up the 'Windows Task Manager' soon after booting up to observe the processes that suck up the CPU during my use. I notice that, at times, my CPU freezes periodically. Also, which may or may not be related, the 'System' Image Name CPU usage steadily increase 4% to eventually over 90%. Since booting up earlier this evening my CPU usage has increased from about 4% to now 30% and that is while the system is idle, or so I assume. I need help. I nderstand the the Hijackthis log is helpfull for determining causations. Please see ther log:
