Could you please provide a full log of your system's specs? TrySpeccy which can upload the log for you. 
 
Also, when is your computer slowest? During boot? Opening a large program? All the time?
 
Last, were you looking for hardware upgrade advice, or software tweaks? Or both?

Judging the the Specks you provided you are unlikely to get grate performance out of the system by software tweaking alone. If possible try to get at least 4GB in the system however I would not put any money into a system in this age range as the CPU was first released in 2004.

I know it is old processor. Previously, I was XP. It worked fine. 10 is very slow.
