Today switched  to Kaspersky Internet Security.

In Firefox I have the Facebook Phishing Protector add-on.

I can use FB, but with each move I make this alert pops up.

Is there a security issue here or is the add-on just not KIS friendly?

Or are they just two similar apps competing for control?

Looks like a false positive from the add-on as Kaspersky probably tries to inject a script on the page (for security reasons). You could report that FP to the add-on dev. or switch to Netcraft, which offers protection against all type of phishing threats.
