Only if your Windows 7 is a retail license that can be transferred if installed on another computer or an OEM license that has never been installed. You cannot transfer an OEM license once installed on a computer.

Things you may have trouble with are drivers. Some newer hardware may not have Windows 7 drivers available. If you have USB 3 ports you will need to install USB 3 drivers as Windows 7 does not have native USB 3 drivers on the install disk.
