Hi! I like to periodically run rkill every now and again to see if anything has changed with a new patch or download to my computer.

Since the Anniversary Update, Rkill has suddenly given me this:

Checking Windows Service Integrity:

 * Security Center (wscsvc) is not Running.
   Startup Type set to: Automatic (Delayed Start)

 * gagp30kx [Missing Service]
 * IEEtwCollectorService [Missing Service]
 * IoQos [Missing Service]
 * nv_agp [Missing Service]
 * TimeBroker [Missing Service]
 * uagp35 [Missing Service]
 * uliagpkx [Missing Service]
 * WcsPlugInService [Missing Service]
 * wpcfltr [Missing Service]
 * WSService [Missing Service]

 * agp440 [Missing ImagePath]

 * AJRouter => %SystemRoot%\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceNetworkRestricted [Incorrect ImagePath]
 * WpnService => %systemroot%\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs [Incorrect ImagePath]

 * vmicrdv => %SystemRoot%\System32\icsvcext.dll [Incorrect ServiceDLL]
 * vmicvss => %SystemRoot%\System32\icsvcext.dll [Incorrect ServiceDLL]

i'm not really sure what to do here, or if I should just wait until a few updates are pushed through windows. The NV_AGP one is confusing, as I just updated my Nvidia Drivers.

I haven't done anything differently. I turned off most of the features/removed some apps I didn't care about post-update. My computer isn't running any differently, either. Just trying to riddle out what is going on.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I ran sfc /scannow in the command prompt and let the system scan run; I was eventually given "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations". Are these one in the same, and if so, is Rkill giving a false positive? Thanks again.

In my opinion, I think that everything is just okay and those services are really not necessary. Believing that RKill hasn't gone crazy and started to delete important services on your computer, I think it's just some temporary files or something. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you because it hasn't affected your computer in any way. However if you are really concerned, I bet many people on this forum have the answer to your question.Of course, this is all just IN MY OPINION.

@VishIsBoss: Thanks for your reply! I'm more than inclined to agree with you, though after running disk clean-up, these still appear in Rkill. A friend of mine said the same. Was just curious as to what these are exactly and why they're suddenly popping up!

Thank you!

Even after the cumulative update I was pushed last night, I am still seeing these.

RKill had an issue with missing services in the past which Grinler corrected. You may want to report this in the RKill discussion topic.

Hi,

I have the same problem with RKill after the Anniversary Update. I am doing the latest one right now.

I found this. But I do not trust it.
