Hello everyone. I was told to post here by usasma, who thought that my computer may have been compromised. This is based on the following two posts I made:

"Hello everyone. I think my computer has a memory leak from the following symptoms: When I open task manager on my Windows 10 PC, I notice abnormally high system RAM usage, and the processes and details tabs don't show nearly enough total usage to justify 2.7 out of 8GB of system RAM being used. I have experienced BSODs with my PC for sometime, mostly during high-end gaming, and this has remained a constant variable from Windows 7 to my upgrade to Windows 10. When I analyze BSODs with bluescreenview, I notice that a recurring bug check string is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, although I have seen others. ntoskrnl.exe is also often listed as a culprit driver.

So, with all this in mind, do I have a memory leak, and if I don't, what is it? How do I fix whatever this is?

UPDATE: I have tried to update drivers from Device Manager, and it said I already had the best drivers. I have run memtest in the past and found no issues with RAM."

And:

"Thank you for your response. I ran memtest two weeks ago over an entire night, and it found nothing. I tried downloading and opening both of those bsod dump programs you linked to, but they did not work when I tried to run them, and were deleted by my antivirus. Do I need to be in the admin account to use them?

Update: Tried the admin account, same results."

So based on what I posted, is my computer compromised? I use several antivirus programs and none of them have ever detected anything serious besides cookies. The two BSOD dump programs usasma wants me to run are blocked from opening by Panda Free Antivirus. I scan the downloaded files before opening them, and it says there is no issue, but when I try to run them it deletes them automatically on the grounds that they are viruses.

What is going on and what do I do?

p22002970.gif Please download Rkill (courtesy of BleepingComputer.com) to your desktop.
There are 2 different versions. If one of them won't run then download and try to run the other one.
You only need to get one of these to run, not all of them. You may get warnings from your antivirus about this tool, ignore them or shutdown your antivirus.

rKill.exe: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/10/
iExplore.exe (renamed rKill.exe): http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/11/

  • Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
  • If using Windows Vista, 7 or 8 right-click on it and choose Run As Administrator.
  • A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
  • If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
  • Do not reboot until instructed.
  • If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.

If normal mode still doesn't work, run the tool from safe mode.

When the scan is done Notepad will open with rKill log.
Post it in your next reply.

NOTE. rKill.txt log will also be present on your desktop.

NOTE Do NOT wrap your logs in "quote" or "code" brackets.
Do NOT use spoilers.
Do NOT edit your reply to post additional logs. Create new reply. I'll not get any email notifications about edits so I won't know you posted something new.

I tried running the adwcleaner you linked to, and it caused a BSOD the moment I tried to run it. How much more stuff do I have to do? I'm worried with all this software I have to download and that program causing a BSOD. The bug check string was PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and ntoskrnl.exe was listed as the culprit driver, as it often has before for the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSODs. What do you think is going on from what you know so far?
