I'm at my wits end attempting to fix this problem so I'm coming here for advice.

First I got a blue screen that read IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The PC then restarted and stopped at a different blue screen with code error 0xc000021a and will just take me as far as repair or reset. I tired startup repair, that didn't work. I did a chkdsk and nothing unusual showed up. Both hard drives are quite new. I tried /sfc scannnow and it stops after 100% verification with " Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation". There is no system restore point. I then tried to reset the PC and it just returns "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made."

I'm really not sure what steps to take next. I have trawled through a few posts in this forum and in others and haven't found a solution. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Start with these free, bootable diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html

If the hardware passes, then you'll have to try reinstalling Windows from recovery media.

You also may want to attempt to backup your data before doing this (as the recovery will wipe your system).

We have a Backup forum located here:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/238/backup-imaging-and-disk-management-software/

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
