Hi all.
I got an old Compaq laptop (64mb ram, Pentium 3 700mhz.)

I recenetly had windows 98 reinstalled on it, shut it down one day after about 1 hour of work, then it never turned back on (completely dead). I removed the battery, and put it back in. Now it seems like it starting up, but no sounds of windows, and lcd is completely dead.
Power light, battery charge lights are seem to work fine.

Any ideas?

Have you tried connecting a monitor to the monitor port to see if it is indeed booting?
