Hi all, I watch a lot of movies/ TV online and just recently my laptop keeps minimizing the screen by itself so I can't watch full screen. Sometimes this can be immediately after I've pressed the full screen button or a few minutes in. The sound normally goes off just before and returns as the screen minimizes.

Can anyone help, this is very frustrating!

Thanks,

Lauren

Most often this is caused by a program stealing the focus from TV/Video player.

To locate it, start the system with a Clean Boot:  http://www.thewindowsclub.com/what-is-clean-boot-state-in-windows

If the problem doesn't occur in the clean boot, then re-enable things (a few at a time) in order to figure out which program it is that does this.

If you're using HDMI you might also want to update your video drivers.
