HP pavilion laptop will not stop scrolling to the left, and built-in keyboard does not give inputs. Even with the built-in keyboard removed, it will not stop scrolling. It is even constantly scrolling to the left in the BIOS screen. Typing is a nightmare, I had to plug in a different, external keyboard and type in my password backwards to get past the login screen. What is causing this debacle and how do I fix it?

This is one for the Internal Hardware forums:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/

If it's happening in the BIOS, and if removing the keyboard doesn't stop it - then it's probably a problem with the motherboard (but I'm not a hardware expert, so I'd check elsewhere before proceeding).

Good luck!

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
