My system suddenly refuses to boot up.

I think the hard drive failed. It states no boot device available.

Auto repair failed and an I/O error occurred.

See attached screen shots.

This does indeed look like the suspect is the Hard Drive. Have you got a computer that you know works? I suggest trying the Hard Drive in that computer to see if you get the same error, if you get the same error then I suggest that you buy a new Hard Drive.

This looks like a Dell.

Dell's normally have builtin diagnostics - have you run them?

If you can't find them (in the boot menu - by pressing F12 when the system first is turned on), then try these bootable HDD diags:  http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

Also, the Dell diags may not see the hard drive - as may be the case with the bootable diags.

In that case, the fix is to try another hard drive.

If you don't have another, then try purchasing one from a shop that will let you return it (for your money back) if it's not needed

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
