Hey I was asked to look at a computer that was having a video problem. Unfortuanatly I dont know any stats on it and all I know about it is the problem. When you connect everything and turn it on it makes noises and seems to do everything right but on the moniter nothing happens the moniter just stays on power save mode as if it wasnt connect to a comp. It had a built-in video card and I installed a new AGP card but it didnt do any good. Anyone got any guesses anything would be a help thanx.

Have you tried substituting another monitor to determine if the same thing happens?
Cheers,
John

I am working with the comp at my house so I am using the moniter for my comp. Which is the moniter that I am using right now so I know it works and it also does the same thing at work.
