Kingston site says http://www.kingston.com/en/memory/search?partId=KVR667D2N5%2F1G

No SP models found. So probably same thing. Google said some SP parts are SO-DIMM's but cannot be sure for that.

Where are you seeing this module with the SP at the end?

Doing a Google search doesn't show anything the kvr667d2n5/1g  with the SP.

There's one http://www.gaonsegaon.com/default/kingston-ddr2-1-gb-pc-ram-kvr667d2n5-1g-kvr667d2n5-1g-sp.html

Looks like same as without SP to me. Strange.

I see. Then it's probably same as kvr667d2n5/1g without SP. Kingston datasheet just don't mention that SP.

I called Kingston and spoke with one of their techs and was told that the kvr667d2n5/1g will work with your motherboard.  The SP apparently is the designation of where it was suppose to have been sold.

Now that's what I call dedication :thumbsup2:

So mystery seems to be solved as SP clearly points to Spain.

Actually the tech told me that that location is in Asia.
