Desktop won't work after newest Windows 10 update

Okay so yesterday i my computer update to the latest Windows 10. After that i booted my pc and everything worked properly. Then i shut it down and today i booted it again. Everything went normally it booted to the desktop but when i tried to click an icon the desktop freezez and says that it doesn't respond. So besically i can't do anything on my pc. I have tried restarting multiple times and the freezing occurs every time.
