No internet after upgrading to windows 10

Hey

I recently upgraded to wndws 10 and Internet is not working .it is connected through wi-fi but says no internet even though all other devices in house are working.All the solutions I have read so far are to download things but a bit hard when you have no internet access.Any help would be much appreciated

That is a common issue when one upgrades instead of starting clean,

 

you need to re-install your Wireless card driver (if none is available for windows 10, a windows 8/8.1 driver will work just the same.)

 

if you have access to another computer download that driver (FROM MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE).

 

If Not, go into Device Manager and Find your wireless card, Right click it and click uninstall, then restart, your machine should find the driver automatically.

Would that be under network adapters and -wi-fi Adapter?

Correct, Would be under "Network Adapters" in "Device Manager"
