Retired recently from academia, too much time on my hands, and for the ? time in ? years, I've had a fraudulent charge show up in an account I manage on line. Too much private information is out there about me, and I'm here to learn what I don't know about on line security. Although I passed an A+ Certification Test almost 20 years ago, it appears to an area with lots of learning possible.

Welcome to BC !

The problem is the hackers and scammers are learning all the time as well !  For direct help here on malware and such like problems go to 'Am I infected?'. For information there is the 'General security' section plus quite a number of news articles here.
